Miniature book lots on Ebay- Shameless self promotion!

Long, long ago, in another miniature world and time, I, used to create miniature books. Hence I come to my 'shameless self-promotion' as I clear out old items I never threw away but held onto when I was in artisan miniature mode back in 2004-2007. As with anything,
there are only so many miniature books you can make before you get tired of them...and I looked for new challenges.

These miniature books I am putting up in lots of 5-9 , starting with a bid of $9.99 plus free shipping. It is time to clean these out and as it looks like I am not anywhere near to building Buffy the Vampire slayer's  library diorama, these must move on to other miniature dioramas.

Right now, I have two lots up , I will be listing more as I seperate and bag them up according to theme. One reason why these were never sold is they were not 'perfect' enough for the look I wanted. The covers are of faux leather I made myself, or real leathers aged, as are the pages which are usually blank and turn.

Most of the books are decorated with some small charm or embellishments, and the pictures on the open books in the 2nd lot are not that great, nor are they perfect on the paper stacks either. It has been a while since I made miniature books- but since I have moved on to 1:6 scale, I am very picky about items now for display, especially on the details. These work for a neat cluttered table and I have shown how you can stack and arrange them to look like a small research table. Giles has obliged by being my model for showing how well the smaller books fit in his hand, these would also work for Fashion Royalty, and Barbie too. Most of the books either measure 1 inch by 1 inch, 1 1/2 inch x 1 1/2 inch , or open books can measure 2inches wide. Open books do not close, they are made in a fixed position and their pages do not turn.

Enjoy! These two lots are on Ebay right now.
